What We Believe
The Bible
The Bible, written by men, is divinely inspired, and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It is the basis of our faith and practice.
God
God is one in three persons as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus
Jesus is the Son of God who through His substitutionary death on the cross made provision for the salvation of men from sin.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit illuminates the Bible, points us to Jesus Christ and empowers His followers.
Man
Man is God’s special creation, made in His image and will find his potential only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Salvation
Salvation is offered to all men through the provision of Jesus Christ, not human effort. Through repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ, a person may be forgiven of sin and become a child of God with eternal life.
The Church
The church is a local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant to be the people of God, the body of Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit with the mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ.
